Golden hour on Ilford HP5 — no filter, just the light doing the work.
A CALMER SOCIAL APP
Good things.
Less noise.
Aevu /ˈaɪ.vuː/ “EYE-voo” — not “AY-voo” or “EE-voo”
Photos and videos ranked around your interests—not a follower contest. No public comments. No public downvote count. No pressure to perform.
Good things.
Less noise.
No comments. No friend graph. No public dislikes. No location by default. No follower race. No pressure to perform.
THE PRODUCT PROMISE
A feed that listens quietly.
Aevu is built for the person watching first. Your interests shape what appears; creators earn attention by making something worth seeing.
Private feedback improves relevance without turning people into a public score.
DISCOVERY
Your taste is the graph.
Choose what you care about. Watch behavior, likes, saves and private skips refine the view from there.
CULTURE
Attention stays on the work.
No comment pile-ons, follower race or visible dislike totals competing with what someone made.
CONTROL
Personal, not punitive.
“Not for me” marks one post for you. It does not erase its creator or damage an interest for everybody else.
HOW AEVU LEARNS
Small signals.
Better choices.
A simple loop replaces the follower graph. Nothing here requires importing contacts or finding friends.
- 01
Choose your interests.
Start with subjects you genuinely want more of. Your first view is useful before you follow anyone.
- 02
React privately.
Like, save or mark one post “Not for me.” Negative feedback is not displayed as a public verdict.
- 03
Share with control.
Capture or upload multiple photos and videos, edit them, and attach an approximate or exact place only when you choose.
WHAT'S INSIDE
More ways to enjoy.
None to perform.
Every feature earns its place by helping you find and keep good things — never by turning attention into a scoreboard.
Kept, not followed.
Keep the creators whose work you love. They gather in a private Kept lane and get a gentle nudge in your view — with no public follower count, on either side.
Echo the work you love.
Champion a post to the people who keep you — always credited to the original creator. It’s word of mouth, not a viral counter. No public echo totals.
A private library.
Save into collections with private notes, a reason for keeping it, and an optional date to resurface it. A quiet shelf for what’s useful — never a public showcase.
Creator insight, kept private.
See what actually resonates — meaningful views, saves, profile visits and how often you surface in search, with month-over-month growth. Only you ever see it.
A studio for the work.
Shoot or import photos and video, write directly on the canvas, tune real adjustments and filters, and score it with a licensed or original sound before you publish.
Fast, adaptive video.
Every video streams at the quality your connection can carry, in an immersive viewer that loops through your feed and stays smooth as it grows.
Quiet notifications. Hear the moment your work is kept, saved or echoed — plus one calm weekly summary of your reach. Discovery you can feel, without the red-dot anxiety.
BUILT FOR A GLOBAL VIEW
Share what you see.
Keep control of context.
Fast media, optional place sharing and private creator insight—without turning reach into a popularity wall.
When a place is useful, the person posting chooses approximate area or exact place before publishing.
THE QUIET DIFFERENCE
Same medium.
Different rules.
Most feeds optimise for reaction. Aevu optimises for whether you actually wanted to see it.
Why no comments?
Comment sections reward the loudest reaction, not the best work. Aevu keeps public interaction to a like and a save, so attention stays on what someone actually made.
What does “Not for me” really do?
It privately marks that one post so you see less like it. It is never shown to the creator, never counted as a public downvote, and never buries their work for anyone else.
Can I follow creators I love?
You Keep them. Kept creators get a gentle nudge in your view and gather in a private Kept lane — but there are no follower or following counts on show, for you or for them.
What is Echo?
Echo is quiet resharing. When something is worth passing on, you Echo it to the people who keep you — always credited to the original creator. There is no public echo count and no viral leaderboard; it’s word of mouth, kept human.
Where do the things I save go?
Into your own private library. Organise saves into collections, add a private note or a reason, and set an optional date to resurface something later. It’s a personal shelf, never a public list of likes.
Do you track my location?
No—location is off by default. If a place adds to a specific post, you choose an approximate area or an exact spot before you publish, one post at a time.
Which platforms can I use it on?
Aevu is built natively for iOS and Android, with a responsive web preview. Release availability will be posted on this page.
How much does it cost?
Aevu is free to use while in private testing. There are no ads competing for your feed and no follower metrics to buy your way past.
Is my data sold?
No. Your signals personalise your own view. Provider passwords never pass through Aevu, and you can delete your account and content at any time.
